A staple of our Lutheran heritage, coffee hour is a great way to get to know people better and enjoy a mid-morning snack. Held in the social hall September through June and out on the front porch during the summer weather-permitting, refreshments are served between 9:20 am and 9:50 am.

The Friendship Circle is a women's group that meets once a month from the spring to the fall. They connect through conversation and service projects. As our local chapter of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League, the Friendship Circle helps bring women together in service.

Sprechen Sie Deutsch? If so, the German Kaffeehaus is the grou for you. This group meets monthly on Sunday afternoons. Celebrating their German heritage, they chat (sometimes in German) and savor tasty treats - perhaps even some delicious kuchen and kaffee.

One Friday a month the Lunch Bunch meets at a local restaurant with Pastor to connect and savor delicious meals. To find out which restaurant the group is meeting at, call the church office at 845-897-4423.

Wednesday evenings in Advent (December) and Lent (before Easter), members of OSLC meet together for potluck suppers. The meals start at 6:30 and end just before the services start at 7:30.

The social committee organizes a variety of events at OSLC. Along with providing lunches for the two voters meetings each year, they've hosted Valentine's Day dances and game nights.
